What to expect from your photoshoot

I’m on a mission to use photography to empower female business owners to recognise all the brilliance you have inside you.

So, you’re thinking of booking a photoshoot - but what next? You don’t need me to tell you how important business photography is -  if you’ve landed on this page, chances are you probably already know!

But what I do know, is that being in front of the camera can be scary, and choosing the right photographer to represent your brand is a big deal. I’ve lost count of the amount of women who have told me they aren’t photogenic, or that they feel awkward in front of the camera.

I’ve also lost count of the amount of women who have told me after my session that I made them feel comfortable and at home.

My mission is to show all of you ambitious women just how brilliant you are. I want to use photography as a catalyst for confidence, and to empower you to be the very best you can be. I KNOW how powerful photography is (because i’ve been on the same journey you have) - so let’s have fun capturing your story.

I believe that personal branding photography is about humanising your business. It’s more than just headshots - photographs will beautifully communicate what you do and how you do it; and that in turn will help your ideal customers fall in love with you. When you feel confident, your customers will have confidence in you too. Imagine all the things you could do, if you just felt more confident?

You’ll end up with a huge bank of glorious images ready and waiting, whenever you need something to post on social media. You’ll also have a website full of beautifully curated photography that perfectly shows off you and your brand.

So, whatever you need photography for - I strive to make my clients feel joyful and relaxed. I’ll help you every step of the way - from sourcing locations to deciding what to wear, producing images that will help you see yourself as other people see you (which is bloody brilliant, by the way).

  • I kick off every shoot with an informal chat about how you’d like to work together. Don’t worry if you’re still in the early stages of your planning - i’ll have a list of questions we can work through which will help us avoid any awkward silences and determine if we’re a good fit.

  • I’ll work with you to develop a shoot plan that will include a moodboard, shot list and prop ideas.

  • On the day, your shoot will be laid back and fun. We’ll have a shoot plan to follow, but I like to take the day as it comes - our session will evolve as you get more used to being in front of the camera.

  • Your images will be delivered in a personalised gallery and will be available for download in high res for printing or optimised for web and social.

FAQs

Where can I use my photos?

You will receive both high-res and web-optimised images in a personalised gallery. This means they’ll be perfect for use on your website, social media channels, blog posts, newsletters, printed media, or even in the press!

How long will I have to wait for my images?

I understand you’ll be excited to see your photos! I will send you a handful of highlights the week after your shoot, and I aim to send you your full gallery as soon as possible after then - and no later in 30 days after your shoot date.

How much will my shoot cost?

I offer half day and full day shoot packages, with the opportunity to provide bespoke options for extra special briefs. You can view my prices and packages here.

How long does it take to plan a shoot?

I usually recommend booking at least a month in advance - this will allow us plenty of time to get to know each other, plan the details of the shoot and arrange a location.

Excited? Me too!
